Approved I got my visa on hand

Interview day 17 oct 2012

Reached center at 6:45 there was a long que

7:00 Around 7 we were asked to move in ( just keep interview appointment letter handy)

7:10 Got my token no I was A216

8:05 Indian lady (age 25-30) called my name though token displayed was A210 on counter 9

1. Who's calling u?

2. Where does he stay in states?

3. Give me your medicals?

4. Is this first marriage was both of you? This was a trick question as this is second marriage for on of us...

5. Returned me my additional documents and originals

( I was not asked to submit any docs as we had submitted everything)

Lady asked me to sit for the second interview

8:15 I was caled by an American officer counter 11

Questions

Who's calling you

Where does he work??

What is he working as??

Are u aware of the earlier marriage?

Are u ok with that?

What do you like about your husband?

Are u carrying your marriage pics? YES

Where did u go for honeymoon? Mauritius

Can I See honeymoon pics? Yes

So u had that "circle circle marriage"?Yes that is Indian style

He did ask me to sign on part 2 took a pause for 10 secs

"Congratulatons ur visa is approved, u can collect it within a week"

I got my visa yesterday I had opted for pick up option so I got it collected from BKC center yesterday...

The yellow envelope is sealed one (NOT TO BE OPENED)

Aug 02/2012: Invoiced for IV Bill $230.00 Paid the same

Aug 02/2012: IV Shows as ''Paid'' sent the package IV-Finally

Aug 10/2012: NVC Case Complete....

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal

After reading your post i feel very very very relaxed, as we also have the same situation. This is 2nd marraige for him and first for me (beneficiary). I was under impression that this could be a reason for denial..but now i feel good after reading your post that there are cases like mine which were approved. :D

01/17/2012 - I-130 Sent

01/18/2012 - NOA1 Date

07/30/2012 - NOA2 Email Received (194 Days since NOA1)

NVC:

07/30/2012 - Case arrived at NVC building

08/20/2012 - Received case #, IIN, gave both e-mail addresses

08/20/2012 - E-mailed DS-3032 (used email template & also attached scanned copy)

08/27/2012 - AOS bill invoiced & PAID online

08/28/2012 - AOS bill appears as PAID

08/29/2012 - DS-3032 accepted

08/30/2012 - IV bill invoiced & PAID online

08/31/2012 - IV bill appears as PAID

08/31/2012 - AOS Package sent (via priority mail)

09/04/2012 - NVC received both packets (due to weekend & labor day holiday)
