Traveling soon, change of address issue

I changed employers recently. My former employer sponsored me for the H1-B and through that sponsorship I got the H1-B visa stamp. I had to transfer to a different employer and my transfer has already been approved. My former and current employers are located in different states ("S1" and "S2")

I did NOT notify DHS to my change of address and now I have to travel next week. It has been 22 days since I moved to state S2.

Is it advisable for me to notify DHS about this change before traveling?? It has been more than 10 days since this change occurred.

I am not sure if they check all this information at the port of re entry (airport) or if it will suffice withe I797 plus employer letter.
