E,

People walk in or make an InfoPass appointment to get better information than can be obtained from the Misinformation Line. Unfortunate that it hasn't been helpful for Hisham.

E-mail is the most modern of communication channels, and many elected officials are responsive to it, but in any case the most effective means of communication remains direct personal contact. Find your Congressman's local office and pay a visit to chat about the AOS issue with whoever is staffing it. Take all of his case documentation with you. If you're lucky someone there can work with you, if not they can give you the name of the immigration liaison in the Congressman's Washington office who can work with you.

Thanks, Yodrak. But there's no such thing as walk-ins for EAD renewal? What do people walk in for, then? ...... Walk-in infopass appointments have been a total waste of time and money for us then. That's truly disturbing.
