Quick Questions regarding CR1 Interview

1) When I eventually go to the interview will I need to bring my husband's (USC; petitioner) divorce decree and military records or are they just asking for MY information? I was always assuming I'd need his divorce decree but not his military records. But I want to ask and be sure.

2) If I do electronic processing, will I have to bring his tax transcripts with me too or will they have those? We were planning on doing the I-864EZ.

3) What qualifies to show he has domicile in the USA? Bills? His driver's license?

I think I answered #2 for myself. I'll bring a copy of them, but he sends that stuff in himself to the NVC.

1. Yes, bring his divorce decrees. No military records needed.

2. You are correct.

3. Canada is very picky about this. How long has he lived with you abroad? You may want to review this thread: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/164618-proving-domicile-when-not-living-in-the-us/

He's never lived with me abroad, except for a month and a week in Feb 2012 but I don't think that really counts. He has had residence in the USA since Nov 2011 and before that he was stationed in Guam. Would a copy of his lease work the best?

Since he lives in the USA, and presumable filed taxes as a resident, that should be enough.

Okay, awesome! Thank you very much... Detail oriented people like me, I think tend to over think things. The question is pretty simple and I keep reading more into it. LOL. It probably happens a lot on VJ but not so much for the average joe ;)
