Romney and Obama divided over abortion, contraception, gay marriage

Sounds like clear CHOICES and I am for choice.

To analyze a bit

1. Abortion. Settled law. Abortion is legal. There is not much a President can do about it. The only thing he could possibly do is appoint Surpeme Court Justices favorable to overturning Roe vs. Wade. Of course if it were overturned abortion would STILL be legal in most states. It has been the law of the land for 40 years and I doubt it is going to change anytime soon.

This is political bubble gum to entertain us while they destroy our economy.

2. Gay Marriage. DOMA already exists and has been overturned by an appeals court. Romney can do nothing regarding DOMA. It is in the courts now. Not a Presidential issue at this time and only marginally so later. Congress passes the laws

3. Contraception. Seriously? Neither is against contraception and it is neither an issue for the President or the Federal Government.

All of this is to divert attention from a weak, failing President. These are simply not "issues"

Yada Yada Yada both sides trot out Gays, Abortion and Prayer in school to keep peoples eyes off the real issues. Romney can't do squat about abortion.

I disagree with him on all social issues except for federal funding for planned parenthood. If you want an abortion it is just as immoral to force others to pay for as it is for others to restrict your right to it.

I am not a fan of the GOP on most social issues.... Mostly done to appease the religious right (its no excuse) - Secondary in this election.
