Missing Supporting Documents

Okay, this was really dumb on my part. I filed for I765 and I131 concurrently with I485. In trying to be meticulous to be sure I had all the supporting documentation for the I485 I failed to include the supporting documents with the I765 and I131. Well, to be precise I included passport style photos with the I485, but not the I765 or the I131. And I didn't make copies of Paul's passport to go with either one of those. I had put all of that with the I485 and put the I765 and the I131 right behind it. :bonk:

Do I now wait for an RFE? When I get the RFE will they ask for all the documentation that is missing or just the first thing they come across that's missing? Then when I send that will they send me another for anything else that is missing? Jeez I feel like moron!

From one Hotlantan to another!

I made similar mistakes:

Included only 2 passports instead of 6 (2 per form). But no RFE!

Included only my tax return summary, instead of its ENTIRETY (w-2, 1040, and etc) - GOT RFE on that.

If you did not include supporting documents for these two forms, then you'll get RFE'd. It's really easy to assemble these required copies that you know you should have included. Do it RIGHT NOW and then when you get the "pink" slip (RFE comes on a pink stationary paper), you'll have your forms ready and posted the next day. HEADACHE FREE!

Heads up: my husband got his temp green card at USCIS in 2150 Parklane Drive, Tucker, GA. We were interviewed by an Interview Agent. His name was Z---- Abrams (first name left intentionally blank). He looks mean, but is actually cool! I think he is one of the best Interview Agent.

I wish you good luck!

p.s. PREPARE your binder - NOW! It took me a good 2 months to make it meticulous and thorough. The binder was over 3 inches thick. Make double copies because he'll want to take a few and file it under his paper work. ALSO, make photos of your beneficiary doing work in USA... that'll impress him. I took photos of my husband volunteering and he was IMPRESSED.

They will send you a RFE. I received a RFE about 2 weeks after I sent our application in, I sent the wrong tax information  felt like such a twit !!!!!!!!!!! I would just wait till they send you the RFE, just try to have all the information ready so when you receive it, you can send it back immediately. Good Luck. They will tell you in the RFE exactly what documentation they need.

Yeah, dont panic!!!! Wait fro them to contact with a REF asking whatever they want from you and make sure you follow the instructions. It can happen to anyone.

Good luck!

Thanks for the replies. I'm not so much panicking as I am kicking myself. Paul is chomping at the bit to get his EAD so he can get a driver's license and a job.
