My fiancee has her interview for the K1 visa 10/24/2012. I am trying to purchase a air plane ticket for her. I use Korean Air and they will not let me purchase her ticket. What should I do?

I had the same issue when trying to purchase my wife's ticket w/ Ethiopian Airlines back when. Wanted to have it so we could travel home together following her K3 interview but the airline refused to sell me a ticket w/o her having the visa. What they did do, however, was put a ticket on hold for her which I then purchased once she had the visa in hand a couple days later.

you can also try cathay pacific... but you will have to show visa at check-in, otherwise they get full profit :thumbs: i bought my wife's ticket before she was even interviewed at embassy
