By 58% to 35%, independents say Obama will win. This is the case even though independents' vote preferences have been closely divided this year.

.....

Americans clearly think the outcome of the election has consequences for the quality of the next president, as nearly seven in 10 think only one of the two candidates would make a good president. That includes 38% who say only Obama would be a good president and 31% who say only Romney would be.

.....

Although the presidential race between Obama and Romney has generally been a tight one, Americans by a fairly wide margin expect Obama to win. That could be because he is the incumbent, and incumbents are generally more successful than not at winning a second term in office.

A month ago I would have given Romney a 1 in 10 chance...

Today maybe 50/50 .. I would not put good money on either of them.

I did not do any quick fact checking on the above article (as in when it was done, how it was conducted, etc) as it is irrelevant manufactured BS news in the first place designed to thwart perceived momentum but hey whatever it takes.

I don't believe it.. Prove it to me and I still won't believe it. -Ford Prefect

I haven't a clue who I think will win. I am cautiously optimistic, but a Romney win wouldn't surprise me at all.

So you're hoping they both lose as well then?

If someone like Gary Johnson or Jill Stein could win, absolutely. Since they can't, I have to go with the guy who offends me the least.
