Hi Guys,

Need some Help My Fiancee did not receive her packet 4 yet. Its been 4 weeks since she submitted her packet 3 at New Delhi US embassy.

As you all aware VFS is Closed now. So i contacted New Helpline USATRAVEL Doc but they told me they don't have any information about immigrant visa and they can't Help me on this.

So guys what should i do? Who should i Contact.. I pretty sure Packet 4 got lost in mail as Packet 3 was but VFS provided me with Packet 3 via email but now they are out of Picture.

So please let me know who should i contact to get Packet4 via email?

Did you get Interview Date? if not you have to schedule it yourself on new USVISATRAVELDOCS site. that will be your Packet-4.

hey just a quick question..hope you can help me out. how did you receive your packet 3 and where did you submit it eg. vfs in jalandhar? did you submit it online through email or at a VFS center? also how soon after your case was forwarded from NVC did you receive your packet 3 because my fiance still hasn't received his packet 3 after our case was forwarded on oct 12th to delhi. i know packet 3 is the applicant's statement, ds230 part 1 but where did you submit it and how soon did you get your packet 3?

- i keep calling ustrvaeldocs and they were telling me to schedule interview online and now yesterday every different representative asked me to wait for packet 3 in the mail..they said i can't schedule the interview online?? doesn't make any sense ? what are you planning on doing for your interview scheduling?

I am in the same situation as you are. NVC forwarded to documents to US embassy on late august. I never received a packet 3. So, i was told to download the documents from online and email it back to VFS. Still didnt get a response. Then i mailed the documents to the embassy directly. Still no response back from them. It been over 6-7 weeks. Whenever i contact the embassy, i am always told to be patient and contact NVC for more information. When i contact NVC, they tell me to contact the embassy coz they dont have the documents there anymore. This is been going on for over a month. Very frustrating not to get a response from anyone.

Hey,

I just find out that you will have to send out the email to support-india@ustraveldocs.com and will get back with in 2 days. If embassy already sent the packet 4 and you didnt recive in 2 weeks then they will provide you that via email. I am in same situation as you and just got off the phone with USTravel doc agent. So hopefully this will provide the solution.

I contacted USTRAVEL Doc but they said i have to wait for Packet 4 in order to get interview date for my fiancee.

They ask me to send them an email and they will them forward that to embassy. He also said in many cases embassy will email me all the documents.

Hey Guys,

I got same email response from US TRAVEL DOC to contact NVC regarding packet 4. When i contact NVC they said they dont have anything to do with it they allready approves it and now its up to NEW DELHI embassy.

Can anyone tell me how to contact new delhi embassy via email? When i call them over the phone they transfer me to USTRAVEL Doc Helpline and those guys have no clue what to do..

So please help me out here.

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

12-19-2007 = NOA2 by e-mail & web, dated 12-18-07 (187 days; 201 per VJ); in mail 12/24/07.

01-09-2008 = File from USCIS to NVC, 1-4-08; NVC creates file, 1/15/08; to consulate 1/16/08.

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
