NOA1 on August 13th, 2012...Touched August 16th...its the end of October and still nothing.

Waiting is so hard. Im going to call tomorrow to see if there is anything that needs ot be done. I have never done any of this before, same with a lot of people on here.

I KNOW I included everything that was required, why is it taking so long?

they are going to tell you to wait until you reach 5 month from NOA1(in case your application will not be approved by then) and you don't even have 3 months yet. I know people got approved very quick at csc in the last months, but be prepared to wait a few more months(just in case). patience is our best friend right now :)

I think that's very optimistic. I think CSC is resetting approval processing back to the USCS CSC stated average processing time of 5 months . The USCIS provides a historical trend on their web site. The trend data shows that in 2010 and in 2011 October had the lowest number of petition completions. Completions didn't start to pick up until December and January.. The result each time was that the average approvals was reset back to 5 months. So how many approvals have you seen in October 2012???

Hi,

This is how it is for everyone dear, it takes a estimated of 5 month if your lucky than it's faster, but these days i havent seen that much people getting approvals. I only see that CSC are working on RFE petitions and approving them , you can check it on Igor's list.

I'm in the same boat as well; August CSC filer. It's a tough wait for everyone here. I'm checking Igor's list and updated CSC timelines on a daily basis and noticing less approvals than previous weeks. But what's keeping me going is focusing on the next step of the visa process and knowing that I shall eventually see my fiancé again.

I know that every country may take a bit longer or shorter time to process the applications so I will keep that in mind. Hopefully the UK is one of those countries with less fraud cases, could that be in our favor?

April 4th? Seriously?!

I would have at least thought they were in June. It might be in our favour that the UK has less fraud cases, but I don't know.

It took seven months for our NoA2. Unbelievable people have to wait that long, but it happens. California and Vermont mysteriously switch out which one is blazing fast and which is turtle slow. All you can do at this point is try to visit each other to pass the time. London embassy seems to be taking 3-4 weeks to process packet 3 and issue an interview date, which is 2-3 weeks further out. Be prepared for the worst, so if it happens sooner, you'll be pleasantly surprised. Stay strong and remember why you are doing this. It will keep you going when you think you can't go any longer waiting.

I saw an August 1 NOA1 getting an RFE at the beginning of the month...

I am not very optimistic i was just following my timeline.... I don't know if they are slowing down or anything but remember that all the k1 population is not on that website so we don't know for sure. Maybe it also depends on the country of the beneficiary idk...

Anyway, still better than the over 6 months wait for VSC...
