well I never voted before and today I received the SAMPLE BALLOT I guess this is for practicing?? Well I thought you just vote for president but its a really long form with alot of names I don't know??? You have to vote for senator, clerk of court, if judge should stay on supreme court blah blah blah. I just want to VOTE FOR OBAMA thats ALL. I dont care about voting anything else. If I just color next to his name when I go to vote and ignore all the other ones will my vote still get COUNTED????

Please clarify me this I am from Florida and this is a big state in deciding the election says CNN. My wife coming soon here to USA and I dont want Romney to ruin our lives.

advise me please I want to take up the offer in the letter for early voting at my library I am kinda scared to vote election day in case someone pressure me to vote against my wishes.

thanks for clarifications and helpful advise.

I respect your vote

thanks again

You want to contact two fellows named Shamir Shabazz and Jerry Jackson...both of Philadelphia and both Obama allies. They will make sure you don't get intimidated at the voting station.

Here's a pic of them hanging out in front of a voting station in Philly back in Nov. 2008. btw they furnish their own clubs.

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

It's easy. Just select the circle beside the name Mitt Romney. After that vote put an X if you see Libertarian by a name. If you don't see that select Republican.

The people who make the ballots are paid by the Republicans to make it more difficult for Democrats. This is how George Bush stole the election because the Democrats accidentally voted for him but no Republicans voted for AlGore.

It isn't fair.

You do not need to vote for everyone; if you just want to vote for president that is okay and your vote will be counted.

No one will pressure you to vote against your wishes (except in this forum). Voting is anonymous and there are many laws in place to protect your choice. There is no reason to be afraid... this is the US.

Is the ballot you have a mail-in ballot or just a practice ballot so you can familiarize yourself with the layout?

Welcome to FL voting. The ballot is indeed ridiculous but that's by design. You do not have to vote on every candidate and issue on the ballot - you are free to vote only for those contests that you care about or chose to be informed about. You can elect to vote only for President and that would count. You can vote for the President, US Senate and your Congressperson and that would count. You could also only vote the local races and that would count. Nobody is forced to cast a vote on every race and issue to have their vote counted.

hello thanks for your nice feedbacks. It say SAMPLE BALLOT so I think it is for practicing. There is letter for which you can request absentee ballot if you wish but I am going to be present in USA and not absent so I want to vote by going to election station at library. But I am very confused I thought you vote on a COMPUTER? So why they send paper version? And you answer my question I just want to vote for president and that is ALL so i feel relieve and happiness that I can just vote for Obama and ignore the other useless information. thank you kindly.

thanks for clarification. The sample ballot scared me alot its like a test and very unclear who is who. But under president there are about 10 names I wasnt aware there are so many ppl in the presidential race??? Anyways I notice how they are trying to cheat Obama. On the presidential ballot they list Romney name first. How they can do that?? Obama is the president and in any case O is before R? So whats the deal? They think I am stupid person just to color the first Box??? And someone gave me great advise for all the other races I dont know those people but they advise me just to color in ALL democrats so thats my plan. What you think about it?

How do you know he's not a citizen?

yea you are a sensible person. If you don't know ask. So I tell both of you same time. I AM CITIZEN OF USA.

Not one person on this thread figured out who those two people I posted are? For shame!
