USCIS changed the financial requirements in March 1, 2012.In February 2012 when we filled tax the requirements was only $18.000, we meet the requrements. Now it became $900 more.I don't really want to ask coo-sponsor help just because we are missing $240 from the required amount. Wondering if anyone had similar experience recently or heard any precedent or opinion about it ...Any help greatly appreciate it..

We don't have any savings but I don't know if we own motorcycle and car on both names are count towards the difference. The total value of them around $3.500. I don't know if is there a 5 times rule applies here.I mean 5x$250= 1.250 so we have $3.500 value in asset to cover $1.250 deficit. Well I don't know...

The minimum financial requirements this year is $18.900 and we are short with $240 on the 2011 year taxreturn. This year my housebound left his previous long term workplace due to cutting hours lesser pay etc.. Even though the second half of the year worked on 10-99 ( contract work a while) and he got a new better paying job recently, we wont wont get $ 18.900. By the time they call for interview next year around mid March or April, even if they keep the 18.900 ( which probably gonna be raised again in March) we will be even further from reaching the requirements... I cannot even show them the 2013 tax return on the interview, so I hope that they call me before April 15( so I don't even need to bother that tax return) If my housebound stays at this work place til the interview I might be able to convince them showing 6 mo. consistent higher pay stabs and they can do the math with me... I have to convince them somehow with the missing $240 and pray that I am going to interview before they raise the financial requirements in March again...
