what is NOA1 in CR1 case

hello all,

we are about to send 130 for CR1 , i have questions

1- when they gonna take the money?

2- and when we receive the receipt number or there is no receipt number?

3- what is NOA1?

4- is best way to send the package with USPS and pay for return receipt?

I don't know exactly when they take the money but I suppose when they look at the file. You will get notice of NOA1 sent to your email if you provide it when you fill out the I130.NOA1 means Notice Of Action.I sent my I130 express mail at the post office over night with receipt. It's about 18 and some change.They got it the following morning.You can login at the USPS and put the receipt number and you can see when it arrived at USCIS and who signed for it.You also can send yourself a copy of the paper with signature of the person who signed for it to your email. It took about 5 days for me to get the NOA1 hard copy in the mail. GOOD LUCK

They send it to your email if you provided your email with your I130..Or wait for the hard copy that will come within days to your mail box address in usa
