Hey everyone. So, Driss and I are finally finished at the NVC. Our case was completed on the 15th of October. Driss forgot to send a translation of his passport to the NVC, so we had a pretty large delay. However, we're all done now and just waiting for an interview date. Naturally, we are starting to get mentally prepared for the interview. I'm really unsure of what we need to take to the interview. I assume all the documents that I sent to the NVC are en route to Casablanca, but I've received mixed information on what needs to be brought to the interview. Some people say bring everything we sent to the NVC, some people say that they already have all that information and just to bring further proof of an ongoing relationship. Also, is there a separate IV fee to be paid the day of the interview? or does Driss just need to bring the receipt from the NVC payment portal? We are putting together all of our most recent emails, chats, phone records and photos for the interview. I just need to know if I also need to be putting together copies of both AOS and IV packages and preparing to pay another fee at the embassy?

Thanks so much for all of your help. Any links with detailed information would also be appreciated!

I don't know the answers to everything you are asking but I do know since you filed a CR1 that you won't be required to pay again at the interview. Everything is paid at the NVC stage for CR1 applicants.

I would say wait until the NVC email you a letter that will give you the interview date and details about it as well as any documents they need you to take with you to the consulate. If I remember well, I had to retake the Court and police certificate with me and my medical as well as the small pictures they need for the passport( that's all she took from me) and I took more pictures of my husband and I ( The lady in There didn't look at any of my pictures or any more ongoing relationship evidence, she just gave me back everything we sent to the NVC and kept few stuff).

He might want to rebring the forms you filled and sent before and everything else if he has a copy of it ( Just in case to cover his basis) as well as any translations you made copies of (In my case they didn't look at any, but you never know what they can ask from other people.

For my wife's interview, she is bringing copies of all of the documents we mailed to NVC (so we can get original marriage certificate back) as well as some photos and a few other papers. As long as they recieved everything at the NVC, you shouldn't need much.

WE talked sooooo much about my mistake of sending both our originals we got from the Audul..... My husband was so excited he got one of our 2 original marriage certificates back that he thanked the CO and started to turn, walk back to his seat during his interview
