I believe many people are waiting a long time for NOA2 right now so I do not think anything is odd about your wait.

You were married 9 years to an American but you only waited 1 month after your divorce to marry your arranged or family friend Egyptian wife. That will be a red flag at the interview. Yes it might cause extra scrutiny

Good Luck

May 24, 2011 NOA1

Sept 11, 2011 NOA2-took 19 days to get case number

Sept 30, 2011 NVC number and IIN received Friday-gotta wait till Monday

Oct 13, 2011 Case Completed- 13 days from receiving case number Took 32 days from NOA2

January 19, 2012 Interview- 240 days from NOA1

Agreed with DWHEELS76 you are really limiting your replies especially when asking for others that have been in your situation.... (IN ARABIC)

There are so many knowledgeable people on here ready to help that dont speak Arabic.

I too Dont think it is the past marriage that is making a delay,

We were past our "estimate" when we received our NOA2.

To be clear you write you did a service request? What was the follow up of that?

Please consider posting in English...to reach a wider audience of assistance and helpful responses.
