What are the requirements for canadian tourist visa

Hello everyone,

I am a J-1 visa holder and im gonna end my first year in the US this january, buy i am extending for another year. Im only allowed to travel outside the states on my first year. I wanna visit my relatives in Canada this december. Does anyone here know the requirements and processing time for Canadian tourist visa?

Call the Canadian embassy where U R and find out what to bring in ,I think its the same day U apply if U qualify

Hi!

I am on a J-1 visa and traveled to Canada this past August. Even though my visa was expired, my DS-2019 was renewed and that is all they needed to see at the border.

Make sure you have a new DS-2019 before going to Canada and you should be fine.

This prevents you to go back to the Philippines to get a new visa.
