No passport entry stamp?

When my fiancé entered on her K1 visa, they put an entry stamp ON the I-94, but did not put an entry stamp anywhere else in her passport. The instructions for the AOS paperwork say to include the passport stamp. It's on the I-94, but is the fact that there isn't one in the passport proper going to cause us problems? Why they didn't just stamp the dumb passport I have no idea. But it's definitely not there, except on the I-94

After the successful completion of processing the applicant, a CBP officer stamps the applicant's CBP Form I-94, Arrival and Departure Records, and the passport. The CBP Declaration, used at air and sea ports of entry, may also be stamped by the CBP officer. The CBP officer retains the arrival portion of the CBP Form I-94 and returns the departure portion of the CBP Form I-94 and passport to the applicant.

OK thanks, but that doesn't answer my question at all. That scenario clearly states that they stamp the passport. They did NOT stamp the passport in our case. I'm wondering if it's going to cause problems.

No, but the stamp is proof of legal entry, so is the I94. Do NOT misplace it or take it out of the passport. As long as it's in there, you're fine.

If you have an interview and they take it, it won't matter later on. For your own record, keep a scan/copy of it and put it with your copies of AOS and K1 papers you'll be guarding with your claws.

K1 process, October 2010 > POE, July 2011

I-129F approved in 180 days from NOA1 date. (195 days from filing to NOA2 in hand)

Interview took 224 days from I-129F NOA1 date. (241 days from filing petition until visa in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until POE: 285 days

AOS process, December 2011 > July 2012

EAD/AP Approval took 51 days from NOA1 date to email update. (77 days from filing until EAD/AP in hand)

AOS Approval took 206 days from NOA1 date to email update. (231 days from filing until greencard in hand)

From filing I-129F petition until greencard in hand: 655 days

Exactly, the stamp is all you need. I guess the OP didn't understand that, or the snippet from the CBP link.

Thanks, yeah I assume the stamp on the I-94 will be enough, it IS a stamp at least. Just that all the checklists say to include that, and also the passport stamp. In this case, I guess it's all in one!
