GC Reinstated

It's been a while but after what seems like an eternity, we have a final answer. Back in 2010, I was given bad advice by an officer at USCIS.(didnt find out til i did what he instructed which was to relinquish GC as i had to travel back home for family issues ). Well we have had numerous interviews at the US consulate, sent over 120 pages of evidence including 6 affidavits, joint tax returns, etc etc. Low and behold, I recieve a I-797 3 days ago congratulating that my GC is being reinstated and backdated to original admission date of 2008.Keep in mind that i had my 2 year permanent resident card and it was due to have conditions lifted in 2010. Wonder if they will send the 10 year card?

Also, FYI, they also told us skype transcripts are supplemental evidence for anybody else using them.

Thankyou so much!!!! It really has been nothing short of a nightmare, but although they never admitted fault, and wouldn't pull up recorded conversations, i had to prove innocence. I can say this though, i went into this battle with the knowledge they very rarely reinstate GC's, but know i was right.I'm just grateful it is over with. Now my only thought is will it be a 10 year GC?
