Iv'e been to a few shootings and those right wing extremist are a very very small minority of who shows up for those events. On the other hand there were a large number of protesters during the Occupy Movement that wore Soviet USSR shirts. Anyone with a knowledge of that part of history knows that Stalin and the Bolsheviks were responsible for almost double the amounts of deaths than was Hitler. So as you can see it works both ways. It doesn't make either one right, but it is what it is and for anyone who has been to those shooting events knows that most of the people attending those events look at those extremist as back yard nut cases.

I imagine some of it is still being manufactured, just for the tourists. Just my imagination working, based on what other contraband I have seen in other areas around the world, in spots frequented by unsuspecting tourists, even here in the US.

If you had taken the time to read my post you would have noticed that extremist can be found in both camps. Some hardcore right wingers at some events frequented by right leaning people, and hardcore nutcases at events attended by left leaning people. You keep taking about a German hat from WW2 being worn by a kid in one of those pics and a book about Hitler at one of the sales tables yet you find that kind of extremism on both sides. It's freedom of speech. Nobody is arresting whoever is selling those Hitler books and nobody is arresting someone for wearing a USSR shirt at a leftist gathering.

The Stalinist aka USSR were no better than Hitler. They butchered over 20 million people including thousands from my wife's country by putting a bullet in the back of their heads while their hands were bound and then proceeded to bury them in mass graves outside of Minsk and a few other larger cities.

If there were people on this thread saying it's ok to buy memorabilia that glorifies soviet mass murderers I'd say they were wrong too but there's not.
