Hmmmm, sounds like Sharon & I were like the constipation of the Consulate. We get an appointment, and all of a sudden the flood gates opened up....lol. Well, I've been called worse than constipation before anyway, just glad to hear ALL the great news, and good luck to EVERYONE with an appointment! We're just twiddling our thumbs waiting on that Visa to get to Sharon now, and hoping it doesnt take the two weeks they said it might. HURRY UP YA LIL VISA SUKKER!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations everyone who got their appointments. Wow Im just gone for a day and theres like 6 pages to read.

From the time I got to the Consulate to the time I left I counted six K1/K3 Visa applicants and one applicant who was sponsored by LPR.

Ok, now someone's totally got to update the Mtl Waiting Room List (word file)

I would do it (how many interviews are there now? 10? LOL! MTL is making up for the slowness I guess) but I barely get a chance to get online now that I'm working again. I can't believe it, looks like I'm next in line, I want to call too and hear that my interview is in Sept, LOL! I'm the end of April though so I don't think I entered the waiting list until May

yeah I'm on hold

So I was "officially" put on the waiting list on May 17th and the woman said it would be September/October for the interview for May filers.

Interested to hear what answer everyone else gets!

MTL also just responded to my email and confirmed what the woman on the phone said. It probably WAS the woman on the phone! They also "thanked me for my patience". Who is this nice person and why isn't she in charge of all correspondence???

Did they mean Sept/Oct for the actual intervew date or for when you'll get an interview date scheduled? Do you know?

I can't keep track of this thread LOL (I wish I could) and I have to get to bed soon

Melyssa, go buy a CICI phone card and call. I don't think you'd get in that much trouble.

I'd call, lookit what happened to me last night, YOU REALLY don't want to find out someone after you got an interview, specially 2 days off!!! and you still don't have a clue.

Don't get me wrong, I'm going to be hanging around waiting to hear how Ron's interview went!!

I hope Sharon's visa gets there soon, so she can go home and relax and BE AT HOME!!!

I'm also nervous about calling I guess because I was starting to shake just hearing about all these interviews. LOL!

What's the number? I'll see if I can get a calling card tomorrow... how much does it cost anyway? CICI phone card? What's that?

Just got off the phone with Mtl. Was on hold for 45 seconds max. Since we had an RFE, our official waiting date is in May. The very nice lady told me that she didn't have a definite date but judging by where we were and how things were going it would be September or October. Now if I could just find the (insert derogatory word here) that sent the email and could throttle them I would really feel better.

Since you had an RFE?? Wasn't that before the Consulate step though?!

Does anyone know what happened to Rebecca & Don... I kind of want to know if Montreal is really working on mid-April before I call (since I'm at the end of April)

Get a $5 card though! you obviously don't make too many long distance calls from all over the place!
