Here is something that may perk everyone up some, I am a April 16th P3 and I just got off the phone with Montreal and I am scheduled for August 9th at 9 a.m., My god I just realized that that is in two days, what the hell, no time to breath or even think. I hope to see more surprised like this for everyone else. Thank you Tinker for the push to call.

Wow! Are they really already doing the middle of April or did they give you special consideration since you had to wait a few months extra?!! Two days notice?! That's crazy.

I emailed them yesterday and they said my interview date should be coming in the next month or so but they can't make any promises... I'm the end of April but I doubt I entered the waiting list until early/mid May... so I'm still thinking I'll possibly be in October, but I wonder if I could possibly still be in September. It seems Sept is almost filled up though :(

Does it cost anything to call them?

Whoops they didn't say they can't make any promises but they can't give me an exact date (which I took to mean they can't make any promises lol)

And they said the medical is good for one year not six months.

October 17, 2007 - K1 interview - approved

October 19, 2007 - K1 arrived in mail

October 21, 2007 - US entry

October 23, 2007 - Wedding day

November 27, 2007 - AOS, EAD, AP package sent

December 7, 2007 - Received all 3 NOA's for AOS, AP & EAD

December 10, 2007 - Received letter for biometrics appointment

January 2, 2008 - I-485 transferred to California

January 3, 2008 - Biometrics

January 16, 2008 - RFE for I-485

January 22, 2008 - RFE for I-485 arrived

January 23, 2008 - AP approved

January 25, 2008 - Case status finally updated: AP approved January 23!

January 31, 2008 - EAD card production ordered

February 2, 2008 - AP arrived in mail

February 5, 2008 - Sending a letter/RFE to CSC

February 5, 2008 - EAD card production ordered (again?!)

February 7, 2008 - RFE/letter arrived at CSC

February 7, 2008 - EAD approval sent

February 9, 2008 - EAD card received, dated January 23rd!

February 25, 2008 - CSC finally acknowledges receiving RFE

February 27, 2008 - I-485 APPROVED!

February 27, 2008 - Online case status: notice mailed welcoming new permanent resident.

March 3, 2008 - Received welcome letter

March 3, 2008 - I-485 approval letter sent

March 6, 2008 - Green card arrived in mail.

November 2009 - Removal of conditions...

Sister... CALL CALL CALL CALL.... this is the week's mantra. You should be booked close to me (I was March 26 on waiting list.)

Thank you everyone, the good thing is I have been ready for months now, as that is left to do go to the bank and pay the fee then get to Montreal.

I hope to see many more happy people here when I get back.

I am sure this will give Sharon a mostly needed breath of hope and love which she needs so much right now. I cannot tell you how happy I am about your flash-timed interview (even with the wait). We're all cheering for you... and send our love to Sharon and her family, ok???

Start calling a 1:57 and keep calling to be the first on line baby.... or WAIT until 5 minutes before 4.... but whatever you decide.... CALL CALL CALL!!!!

I'm calling, EARLY and I'm not going to get liz to do it. :blush:

Last time I called and they got bitchy with me, they answered on the first ring and scared me to death :blink:

I don't recommend calling at 5 to 4 - I did that yesterday, got put on hold and then was promptly disconnected at 4! I'll let Tinker get through at 2 and call right after!
