MTL Timeline to Interview

I was hoping to come in here and see that Montreal was catching up and everyone had gotten their interviews...because I would like everyone to clear out of this thread because were on our way to getting on the waiting list..LOL.. Just got a letter today that NVC received our case and sent to Montreal... Hoping for packet 3 by the end of the month... *fingers crossed*

will be following alot more closely in here now... hoping for all of you to get some good news soon!

I'm not getting a December interview, am I??

Sadly Liz, if I do, you probably will too. I'm going to do my best not to think about that scenario. I can't plan anything anyway so I'll try and stay optimistic (or delusional????) about getting the interview before Christmas.

Well, now Sharon & I are just waiting for the Visa in the mail. She'll have to fly down now (that RCMP check cost us another $300 I figure in airfare) but at least she'll BE here. I made the mistake of trying to follow Yahoo map directions backwards to come home too. NEVER do that! I drove from Ottawa to my home (887 miles) in one day, but I accidentally stayed on I-83 into Baltimore MD to hit I-95 south at RUSH HOUR. From Baltimore to the south of DC took about 3 hours at an average of 5 miles an hour. INTERSTATES MY A**. I had an Amish guy in a horse-drawn buggy passing me. A 14 hour drive turned into a 16 1/2 hour trip. It was as much fun as driving in Montreal. But made it home, and now just waiting for Sharon to call and say she has that Visa in her hand, and get her HERE. Hope everyone's appointments on the 8th go well! And look FOREWARD to hearing about YOUR experiences in Montreal too!

Here is something that may perk everyone up some, I am a April 16th P3 and I just got off the phone with Montreal and I am scheduled for August 9th at 9 a.m., My god I just realized that that is in two days, what the hell, no time to breath or even think. I hope to see more surprised like this for everyone else. Thank you Tinker for the push to call.

Here is something that may perk everyone up some, I am a April 16th P3 and I just got off the phone with Montreal and I am scheduled for August 9th at 9 a.m., My god I just realized that that is in two days, what the hell, no time to breath or even think.
