I received the letter in the mail today. Dated Jul 17 and mailed out July 18. Not sure why they said it was mailed out Monday. Heres hoping for some more August Interviews.

Lance27, that is great news! ;)

Is it possible to scan your letter and put it here (of course edit your conf info)... or may be indicate what the requirements / checklist are??

Many thanks,

sa_pa

Nope, my eyes are not believing what they are seeing. I emailed Montreal a few days ago, and just received this reply today:

Good news. Your appointment is booked for 1Aug07 @ 8:30am. Letter mailed to applicant

HOLY CRAPOLA! It's FINALLY HAPPENED!

I'm still kinda shaking all over, but all of a sudden, we've got to scramble. That's less than TWO WEEKS from today!

Thank you EVERYONE for all of the support and encouragement that you've given us, and we sure HOPE that this is the start of a flood of appointments!

LOVE YOU GUYS, and we'll be keeping you informed of our progress!

Time to start packing, getting the Jeep ready for a two day drive, and woohooooooooo, Ottawa, then Montreal, HERE I COME!

Alan

Congrats we're very happy for you :dance::dance::dance:

I just called and FINALLY an interview date has been scheduled... Aug 14. I am hoping that Alan gets good news too.
Valid for one year. Was Alan able to call up to see if an interview was scheduled? I was to call Friday but I am now thinking of calling tomorrow.

Alan emailed them because he was busy at work. Crosses fingers

Keeping fingers crossed for you too.....

Congrats Lance happy to hear finally you have an interview :dance::dance:

Just a random question, but for all you CR1/IR1 applicants out there, when you received your interview date, did you have to call and speak to an actual person at NVC, or does it get updated on their automatic phone response system?

Its easier for me to get updated from their machine since I have to use a calling card everytime I call in, and waiting for an operator gets expensive after 5-10 min. of waiting :hehe:

I haven't been on in a couple of days cause it's crunch time and I just logged on and OMG ... Alan & Sharon and Lance ... I am sooo very happy for you .. It's about time .. I'm all weepy (an emotional bundle of nerves lol). Old Montreal is beautiful and very romantic (I had wished that my Ed had been with me :)). The interview will be a breeze .. and I can say that only because of all of the information and support that we receive from VJ (I would have been totally lost without this place). Off I go to continue to pack with a great big smile on my face :thumbs::dance:
