Just an update... Called again today and was told still no interview. I asked when I was put on the waiting list and was told Feb 23. So MTL is definately slowing down

Im just curious to find out how many K visa cases MTL might be dealing with on a particular month.

So far I know that the NVC case number assigned is Consulate(MTL) Year(2007) Somekindof modified Julian date(I wont put my number here for privacy reasons) and I think the number of cases that were processed for that day(26petitions?)

So Im assuming that in Feb, the day when when NVC processed my application there were 26 cases sent over to MTL? I am still not sure if the last 3 digits are the total for the month or the total for a given day or 26 for the week. Im thinking its 26 for the day. Any ideas?

The elusive word doc! How does one get ones hands on this document? I have seen it a couple of times on this thread, but it doesn't open correctly for me normally.

Last I checked there wasnt a lot of new info to add to the timeline.........no new interviews and such.Ive been a bit busy planning my hubby's surprise 40th b-day party for this past Saturday ( went off without a hitch ) and we're still entertaining out of town guests( so little time for being on the puter). Unless someone knows something that I dont regarding timeline info.......if it's ok with everyone I'll wait a few days to scour over the VJ timelines and see what can be added.

........and for those who dont know.......this particular word doc is for k visas waiting in Montreal. Since the NVC is responsible for the timeline pace of the CR-1's it didnt seem logical to me to compare that visa with the k's.......oh and I left Van out of the comparison as well .......thats just pouring salt on a wound

Ha ha, true true. Good old Vancouver, I wish they would miraculously release a statement that they will now process K1s in Vancouver

Nothing for us to add time wise since we are still where we were last time our position was updated.

On a side note I went to my family doctors at the request of the Consulate doctor to clarify certain matters, which was done rather quickly. Now my family doctor has to type everything up and get it off to the Consulate doctor. We are hoping that this will be the end to the medical examination, which started on June 7th and I will have the documentation in my hands by at the latest mid August.

On a side note I went to my family doctors at the request of the Consulate doctor to clarify certain matters, which was done rather quickly. Now my family doctor has to type everything up and get it off to the Consulate doctor. We are hoping that this will be the end to the medical examination, which started on June 7th and I will have the documentation in my hands by at the latest mid August.

Wow. It took me about the same length of time to get the results from my medical. I had mine May 2nd and wasn't able to pick the results up until towards the end of June.

I guess we are pretty much one the same time line for the packet 4 to arrive. I would have thought you would have gotten yours in a week or two, I can understand mine taking more time but in your case they seem to have taken good time.

I haven't really visited this thread since my interview in Mtl last November, but sheesh! I feel for all of you waiting to hear when your interviews will be scheduled.

I don't understand how they can go from 2-4 months waiting to what...6months or more? Unacceptable.

Right now we're not expecting anything from Montreal until September so for sure the medical issues should be resolved by then. I will call the doc in two weeks to see if she has everything and find out when I can expect to get the docs.

How long does it usually take to get Packet 3 from Montreal? I haven't heard anything from anyone lately. No packet 3 nor a letter from NVC saying they have received my petition and forwarded it, etc. I called the NVC late June to find out that they received my petition on the 27th and sent it to Montreal on the 29th. I know it hasn't been too long, but does Montreal take a long time to send Packet 3s, too, or just scheduling interviews?
