NVC
Just to prepare myself for the 15th of this month (my first time calling in to harass and see if I've had an interview scheduled  ,) do I call NVC or Montreal, or both to see if they have scheduled me? I'm going for the CR-1 visa, so I know NVC books the interview, but wasn't sure which place to actually call......

Yay for NVC!I was dreading the thought of having to bicker with the famous Mrs. Nasty that always seems to pick up the phone at Montreal to make peoples lives miserable

Called again today and still no interview. I got 2 different persons Friday and Today so I didn't get yelled at for calling back so soon like last time :P

did they tell you a "most likely" month / time frame?

This is getting really frustrating that there is not firm dates.... urrrgg! just venting .....

No estimate... after pressing her for an approximate date her reply was that we do not know when it will be.

Just an FYI as far as I know.......the magical 15th date is for CR-1's being scheduled through the NVC. When Montreal schedules the other dates , well , that's as good a guess as any. Ours was scheduled at the beginning of the month...I wanna say around the 8th ( of March) :D

On that subject... I called NVC last night and asked about whether I had been scheduled (I knew I hadn't yet.. but wanted to see if they would give me a timeline on when I might be scheduled,) anyways, they said I would be notified by mail when I was pencilled in. Is that true? I was hoping it would also show up on the automated voice response system there. Waiting for it in snail mail will probably drive me to insanity lol

What we all need to remember is that the last batch of people we saw get interviews were mostly people with P3 dates in January.... which means right now Montreal is probably scheduling those with P3 dates in February. And, if you take a look at VJ timelines, there aren't many of us here that fall into that time frame. So I'm sure Montreal is going at the same pace as usual, we're just not seeing it is all.

Yeah. I sure hope you're right (and hopefully they are actually scheduling people with P3 in March rather than just February!) It's kinda disappointing not to see any interviews being scheduled. Hopefully another big pile will be scheduled soon!

Hi Liz,

The elusive word doc! How does one get ones hands on this document? I have seen it a couple of times on this thread, but it doesn't open correctly for me normally.

Last I checked there wasnt a lot of new info to add to the timeline.........no new interviews and such.Ive been a bit busy planning my hubby's surprise 40th b-day party for this past Saturday ( went off without a hitch :D ) and we're still entertaining out of town guests( so little time for being on the puter). Unless someone knows something that I dont regarding timeline info.......if it's ok with everyone I'll wait a few days to scour over the VJ timelines and see what can be added.

Trailmix , if you havent gotten it emailed to you already just PM me an email addy and I'll send you the last word I made.

........and for those who dont know.......this particular word doc is for k visas waiting in Montreal. Since the NVC is responsible for the timeline pace of the CR-1's it didnt seem logical to me to compare that visa with the k's.......oh and I left Van out of the comparison as well .......thats just pouring salt on a wound ;)
