Hey languageladki !! Congrats on your interview! How did you find out ? Did you call ? My CR1 was complete at NVC about 5 days after yours ... I'm hoping for a date shortly :) Please, Please, Please

BTW - what was included in the Packet 4... just for my info, so I know what to expect :)

Hi riblet. You input my interview date the other day. I just wanted to let you know that Packet 4 arrived yesterday, Feb. 17th in case you wanted to put it in with the other info.

Hey amarceau. Well, I had been calling the NVC automated line almost everyday but nothing ever was updated. It kept saying to wait 8 weeks for more information after the completion of the case. So, on the 15th I got impatient and called to speak with an operator. I told her that we hadn't gotten an interview for March and that we really thought we would have heard by then and I asked her if she had any clue when we would get one. Since I'm pregnant with twins we're on a serious time crunch here....I need to get my husband here. When I asked that she said that we already had and interview and gave me the date. She told me that a letter had been sent on Feb. 13. So, they had set the interview probably 3 days earlier and the automated line had not been updated.

We got packet 4 on the 17th of February for Montreal and it contained about 20 pages. It had a list of everything we needed at the interview paperwork wise, gave the interview date and time and told us how to prepare for the interview. It also contained information on the medical exam and where to go for it.

That's about it. We're really excited. We've got 3 weeks left. I'll let you all know how it goes on the 16th of March. Good luck to you, I hope you hear something soon.

We finally sent our Packet 3 back to the NVC on Friday, Feb 23rd. I'll telephone toward the end of the week to make sure it was recieved. In the meantime, *BUMP* -- riblet, can you add our timeline to the CR1 side of the schedule? Thanks!

ACTION:

added cuci to CR1 list - it's actually totally possible that you'll get that interview first, which isn't saying much for K3 processing - but at least the CR1 is a way better visa. Good luck :)

I called Montreal today, and I've finally been issued an interview date!! March 29, 2007 @ 9 a.m.!!

I thought that you're just supposed to get there when they open, and that it's on a first come first serve basis. However, I've been given a specific time. Any thoughts as to what time should I try to get there?

Woooo hoooo! Next step is to get approved! :)

And since my I-130 hasn't been touched since the week they received it (August `06!!) I've got everything riding on this K-3.

Just after I b!tched on another thread I heard the mailman so, as usual, I ran down to check.

My interview letter arrived!! Pencil me in for Monday March 19th @ 9am!!

My head is spinning! I can't believe I just typed those words. With only 18 days to prepare (get all documents in order, rent a car, etc...). I'm all in a tizzy. A good tizzy - a GREAT tizzy! But a tizzy, nonetheless. My life just went from slo-mo to fast forward!

CutienPurg - I know your sick of hearing this, but your time will come. It will. I'm rooting for you!

08/02/06 - Mailed I-130 to Vermont

08/11/06 - Received NOA1 in the mail - 9 days

05/06/07 - After 9 months @ VSC, my petition was transferred to CSC

05/31/07 - Touched... and APPROVED!!! (After nearly 10 months!!)

06/01/07 - Touched & Received e-mail indicating approval

06/05/07 - Received NOA2 in the mail
