added Alan & Sharon (I think one of the most frustrating things is the inconsistent information we hear...the longest I've seen so far for an interview is 6 months from packet 3, so hopefully that can be the worst case scenario - Good luck!! At least looking at this chart, it looks like you're within the "normal" range for Montreal, whatever that is!)

lol please dont think of my case as being fast, there has been so many delays, RFE's. We first filed our i 130 in september of 2005-yes 2005!!!!!its been almost a year and a half. in fact, our 2 year wedding anniversry is coming up april 9!

i just booked our medicals for tomorrow morning, because i had already got a ticket to visit my hubby for 4 weeks from feb 26- march 26, so its gonna be a busy month for me!

May 23 2007 IS OUR INTERVIEW, PLEASE PRAY FOR US!

Congrats. Montreal received my packet 3 on/before Nov 22nd and I have yet to receive my interview date...

[15-03-2006] NOA1

[27-03-2006] Touched? (The last modification was on that date. shrugs)

[30-06-2006] Received and sent the IMBRA RFE.

[11-07-2006] Touched --> USCIS received the IMBRA RFE.

[11-09-2006] NOA2!!

[22-11-2006] Montreal received DS-230 on/before November 22

[12-04-2007] Interview!!!

[13-04-2007] K-1 Visa issued after 13 months of waiting.

[19-05-2007] Wedding

[24-07-2007] Paperwork for AoS sent

[11-15-2007] Green Card received

1 year+ for a K-1 Visa. Who would've thought...

-Sent to Montreal - ?? shortly after?

-Packet 3 Received from Montreal - September 18, 2006

-DS230 Mailed to Montreal - September 20, 2006

-Checklist mailed to Montreal - October 23, 2006

And now we're just waiting. I've called Montreal several times to follow up, and they just keep telling me the same thing -- that I'm on the waiting list for an interview. :(

Thanks riblet! Yes, I actually waited until October 23rd/06 to mail the checklist (over a month after Packet 3 was received!). I felt hesitant sending it without having my police record and medical booked. To be honest, my fiance and I didn't think that it would take this long, so we weren't really in a rush to send it as well. Now I'm totally regretting it!

I'm going to follow up w/ Montreal again this afternoon to check the status. Wish me luck! :)
