Nope, not here either... They've had mine since November 10th -- and I haven't heard a peep... I've called twice, and both times I got the worst reps possible... When I questioned possible times for the interview all they both said was "Feb or March" and actually hung up on me both times ... geesch... talk about bad Customer Service...

I'm praying for anyone with a K3 to get an interview date... just so that I know there is still like in Montreal... I'm still hoping for March at the latest. My husband has given his 60 day notice on his apt and we are signing a least for a house together for April 1. I really want to be there on moving day :)

well hubby called NVC last night and they told him my case was complete as of February 2. --FINALLY!

I have a question though, im still waiting on the notorized letter from my daughters father saying he gives permission for her to move, so her case is still not complete. Will they still schedule me an interview or will they wait until her case is complete as well? Or will i have to go back for a second interview when they complete her case, anybody know?

May 23 2007 IS OUR INTERVIEW, PLEASE PRAY FOR US!

updated shann76 - case complete! Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question - I hope it gets sorted out soon! I'm pretty sure that whichever way it works out, you will both interview at the same time because her visa is a derivative to yours.

I actually had pretty good customer service at the MTL Embassy. I basically called every other week, because I had job offer in the US and didn't want to jeopardize it by the lengthly waiting times.

To give you an idea of my waiting time and experience with the Embassy, I called at the end of November and was told that I could expect an apt. in Dec/Jan. I called in December for an up-date and was told Feb/march. I then contacted the Vancouver Embassy to inquire about a Case transfer and they agreed to allow it. I then called the MTL Embassy and asked them to do so, but was told that they didn't suggested it because the file may not get there in time. They lady was extremely helpful and extended herself to put a "flag" on my case that noted that I had a job offer and would try to get me an appt. at the end of Jan., that was set-up to accommodate the huge back log. Well, a Jan. appt. never happened and when I called back in the middle of Jan. I was told that I had still not been scheduled. They said march at this point but to call back next week because I would likely have an appt. scheduled at that time. I called yesterday, and to my amazement, I was given a Feb. 27th interview date!

My only advice is to try your best at being extremely accommodating to them and to tell them how your case is unique and deserving of their extra effort. Tell them you appreciate the difficult position they are in everyday but that you are just trying to better understand the time line until you get an appt. Keep your cool and kiss their a*s, it worked for me.

I haven't forgotten to update, I'm just sitting here waiting for the certificate from Germany which should be here very soon and the one from the RCMP which will probably take another 3 month if their site is to be believed. The way things are going I will with the RCMP longer than it took to go from beginning to recieving packet three.

08/02/2007 - Received medical documentation

08/07/2007 - Received Interview date Aug. 9th

08/09/2007 - Received I-601 and 212 (not approved yet)

02/17/2008 - I-601 approved 212 abandoned

06/2?/2009 - New medical and passport and doc sent to Mtl

07/22/2009 - Recieved request for DS-221 and notarized letter of intent

07/31/2009 - Montreal recieves thier final requested doc.

09/01/2009 - Visa approved and mail out today

Hopefully they schedule some of us K3ers by the end of next week (I plan on calling while visiting wife in Canada for Valentines since they should be done scheduling for March by then).

FYI

I'm a K-1 visa applicant. I submitted my checklist in late December and sent the montreal consulate an email yesterday inquiring about my pending appointment date. Here is my original email and the reply I got today from the consulate. I'm hoping and praying I do get this appn't by April as my wedding is in May.
