So I'm currently filling out the 1-134 AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT, and i'm currently stuck on question #11. PLEASE HELP!!!

11. I ( ) intend ( ) do not intend to make specific contributions to the support of the person(s) named in ITEM 3.

(If you check "intend," indicate the exact nature and duration of the contributions. For example, if you intend to furnish room and board, state for how long and, if money, state the amount in U.S. dollars and whether it is to be given in a lump sum, weekly or monthly, and for how long.)

I've been searching around and have gotten so many mixed answers....

Some say to leave it blank and put n/a for K1 visa

Other's say to put Intend and other's say to put no intend......

Very Confused wacko.gif Please help, what is the appropriate answer?

We were a little confused about that too. For ours, I put I do intend and then stating to help out with food/groceries as needed until fiance is able to work. We had a co-sponsor, my dad, who also put I intend, and to supply a place to stay until my daughter's fiance is able to work. I hope that is correct. Can anyone shed some light on that for us?

It is really confusing!!! I don't have a co-sponsor but I'm thinking of not checking the boxes and placing N/A in the lines, only due to the fact it states "Specific contributions to the support of the person"

I hope it doesn't hurt us!!! : headbonk.gif

That's what I'll go with. It would seem ridiculous really to list all the specific things you would intend to provide in support. From what I have read, the I-134 is a generic form used for lots of different situations/processes I have read here that putting N/A K-1 Process for Permanent residence is a sufficient and accepted response.
