While it is true a US citizen could have committed the same crime, there is an "additional wrongness" or added irony when the bad-guy should have never been there to begin with.

It's similar to those cases when someone get let out of jail early or the system fails to punish prior crimes.... and then this person harms another victim, it takes on a even greater sting because by any sense of justice the person should have never had the opportunity.

So this is our justice/ immigration system now, we have these folks who have streamed across our borders, no background check no health check no papperwork and Obama says we have to wait for something like this to happen before we even act.

That's just wrong man.

Could have, and do every day.

But in this forum, we'll just post the ones those illegals do. Because somehow they're more offensive.

It is more offensive!

Circumstances around any crime add (or detract) from the impact of the crime.

In this case it is a person who should not even be in this country, in another it could be a person in a position of great trust whose actions compound the weight of the crime.

Do what. I think you are saying if we elect Romeny and that girl had become pregnant it would be illegal for her to have an abortion.

1. Can 12 year olds get pregnant.. Irrelevant I admit but

2. No President has much direct control on abortion. It's all just an opinion to appease the base. Also Romeny is ok with Abortion in the case of Rape, Health of the Mother etc.
