Hello! We want to send our I-129f packet as soon as possible. But, currently my fiances passport is at his parents house like an hour away and we haven't had time to go get it. (He is the beneficiary NOT the petitioner) We wanted to include photo copies of his passport stamps and bio page to show the trips he made to the U.S. to see me for more evidence. We are including my passport (petitioner) Now we are getting to the point where we just want to send it and not wait anymore. But, we just still don't have the copies of his passport. I know its not really necessary but we wanted to include it. Will it matter if I mentioned the trips and dates he went to the U.S. but not include his passport? I mentioned my trips to Hungary and have copies of my passport. Help! Opinions!?

We already have other evidence:

-Copies of passport stamps (Petitioner)

-Boarding passes

-Flight itineraries

-My bank account statement with ATM transactions in Budapest

-Pictures

Hi,

I would be cautious and i would wait an extra day to get the copy of passport and after to send the package instead of waiting weeks in case you will get RFE with a request of copy...just an opinion :) .

Good luck!

I agree with crissycris, I would include also copy of beneficiary passport. Its better to wait couple more hours and send everything complete. You dont want to get an RFE after all.

Technically, they already have what they need. They have proof of meeting in the last two years, which is all they'd use the other passport for.

There's obviously no harm in waiting, but there's also no harm in sending it right now.

They would not get an RFE for copies of the beneficiary's passport.

Another question: How should we attach the passport pictures to the g-325as? I have the actual passport picture just paper clipped to the front of each g-325a. Is this wrong? How should we do it?

write the name on the back, put the photo in a bag, label the bag and attach it to a paper sheet. the photo attached to the paper sheet should go behind the g-325a form. this is how we did it :)

Technically! why take a chance over an hour drive? My rule is get it all no RFE's.

I took a Ziplock bag and two hole punched it at the top, like the rest of my papers, and just placed it behind my G-325a after writing my name/ fiance's name on it.

I would get the photocopies of your bf's passport etc. as tomorrow is the start of the weekend so you have time to spend perfecting your I-129f petition. It will take many months until it gets approved anyway...

You would probably be okay, but for the sake of a two hour drive I would go and get the passport (Better to be safe than sorry). I would certainly get it if it was me. RFE will add several weeks to the process, for a two hour round-trip?

Alternatively, couldn't the parents scan the document for you and email it to you, you will only need copies? Or are they like my parents and have trouble turning on a computer? headbonk.gif

Best of luck, whichever route you choose kicking.gif

I definitely wouldn't do it like that, there's a good chance of something going missing!

The way we did it.

1. Put the photos in a ziplock bag

2. Write your full name and case number on the front of the ziplock bag

3. Print off a sheet of paper with a title, eg "Evidence of Relationship"

4. Staple the bag to a sheet of paper.

The result should look like this;

x6if5f.jpg

Make sure you don't staple the photographs, just the ziplock bag.

I would recommend you do the same for all small items that you send, things like passport photographs.

The result is very neat and professional. and because then everything is secured to a letter sized paper which is bound with the package, it makes it far harder for things to be loose and 'go missing'. It happens more than you think.

Best of Luck to you kicking.gif
