After waiting for our NOA2 for 1 year and 1 month now, still in "Initial Review". After asking help from all those people and still no news about our application...After seeing that it was last touched on OCTOBER 11, 2011, we decided to have the K3 route...

I have a question. We were married in the Philippines, so this means that I, being a Filipina (Beneficiary) will submit the papers at the US Embassy?..Thanks

First of all, the I129F will not speed up your petition, it will not yield in a visa and it will not benefit you in any way.

If you are STILL bent on submitting it, then read the I129F directions. It is filed in the US with the NOA of the I130. Before you do that, I'd have the USC contact their congressman to see what the hold up is

Good luck

Thank you for the reply. Our application has been pending for over 1 year and i'm not thinking of speeding up since it's been delayed..so delayed from what is normal processing. I was able to hang on for 1 year or more.

And yes, we have contacted Congressman, Senator, Ombudsman, Infopass, Tier 2..who else should my husband call? Anyway, if this cost us another delayed, then be it.

Thanks again

what was the response from an ISO ?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

The last word my husband heard from the person he talked to when he called was " I can not access information"..

Last correspondence is a reply from Ellen Hannon, Acting Branch Chief,Customer Assistance Office of USCIS saying:

"We regret the time it is taking to process your Form I-130 petition. USCIS record show that the processing of this case has been delayed because the required USCIS review is still in process. Until the required review is completed, this agency cannot move as the review is completed"..

Naku kababayan I hope this is not for all Filipinas.. sana naman wag na nila patagalin pa.. Kawawa naman baby ko.. If you apply for K3 you will still wait for 5 mos to approve right?

I think only few Filipinas here have the same fate as mine.

Yes, i will still have to wait for 5 months or so before it will be approve. The main reason, why we resorted on K3 route is to let someone from USCIS dig our papers since it was last touched on OCTOBER 11, 2011.

OK - I say stick with the calling pattern, using a telephone,

where the USCitizen Petitioner is

calling in

to the USCIS Call Center,

getting an ISO, each time.

Must to ask for an ISO.

Good Luck !

We have been doing that since 7th month from my NOA1 and nobody give a decent reply to our queries. Are we going to use these pattern til it reaches 15th or 24th month since we filed our application and be miserable and feel helpless?..

Thanks anyway but these call thing here seems not working on us..Maybe to most of the member here it does but obviously not to us..

You certain to get an ISO each time, each phone call?

Sometimes it's difficult .

Here's the ISO vs CSR breakdown:

ISO - http://www.dhs.gov/files/publications/gc_1305658440339.shtm

At some point, soonish, I recommend asking for a service request.

Yes, my husband talked to some kind of lazy ISO and just answered him that our papers are still in process. And again yes, we followed these steps you give from the link. Husband had an INFOPASS went to local USCIS, had to leave his water bottle and phone in his car just to get inside the office which the guy just asked the receipt number and put that in the status update which we can do it ourselves anyway. After that guy checked our status update like we have been doing since the 5th month of application, the guy said it is still in "Initial Review", of course it is, that is why my husband had an INFOPASS to inquire what's taking it so long, but unfortunately, he only got that reply from another lazy government worker.

By the way, that's how we got a reply from Ellen Hannon because we followed every steps on how to do the inquiry. I don't have to detail what we did over and over again because it is just adding up my misery thinking about it.

Thanks
