We are celebrating halloween today because our clinic is not open on tuesdays, so today I am dressed as a fairy but everyone keeps saying a butterfly, so ok I am a butterfly now. The other nurses are dressed as a fireman, pirate, pippylongstocking, cleopatra, hunter, baby, and bum.

My husband woke up this morning before I went to work and looked at me and kept looking at me. I was like what???? and he just smiled and said nothing. His first halloween experience. :halloween:

Good day to all!

AmeraMouttaki - Good luck in your new job and maybe angelk can sprinkle some fairy dust towards your hubby so he can get some good job interviews!!

Aymerlu - I've only played the numbers a few times in my life. When I do I spend the whole night fantacising about what I would do with all the money. By the time I get done with that I have envisioned my whole family fighting over it and then I click on the tv and see that I lost and realize I"m right where I"m supposed to be in life. (L)

just_waiting - What industry do you work in that requires so much overtime????? Gosh I could never do it. Not in a million years. I'd be burnt out the first week. That's why I don't do taxes. I went through two tax seasons with an old firm I worked for and once it ended and we worked normal hours it felt like I was cheating going home at 5pm!!!

jessNgeorges - If you're bored over there why don't you see if there are any women's groups to attend? I know for me I'm very shy in making friends in real life but they are so very important when times get tough! You might just meet someone just like yourself and gain a good buddy. Does the church near you have events each week?

angelk96 - My youngest daughter's room is all about Tinker Bell. :D She has the sheets, the comforter, tons of tinkerbell pillows, pens, pencils, etc. That's too funny about your hubby. Betcha he likes the costume though! ;)

Just an average everyday Monday here. My ex called yesterday to let me know he's going to be in Aruba for ten days starting this weekend. Must be nice. . . That is where we spent our honeymoon and when he got married less than a year after our divorce to the woman he was cheating on me with they stayed in the exact same place that we did for *their* honeymoon too. I honestly don't know how he can sleep at night sometimes.

Hope everyone has a good one!

Doodle, I work for a very large health care insurance company. And yes, I'm getting burned out on it. I think they're pushing a bit too much on so many people. I can't understand why they won't hire a few more people but I suppose its cheaper for them to pay us OT then benefits for more employees. Its a godsend for me right now actually. The $$ is nice and frankly I'm finding it much better to just keep myself busy and tired out then sitting and thinking. All things have their reasons I guess. I shouldn't complain. When do you travel?

Hello Everyone!

Got back from the Sahara- honeymoon late last night... drove half way back while my husband, bless his heart slept...(he was driving most of the way) so I figured he had to go back to work today, he needed his sleep.

I had to drive the poor dear to work this morning, since he was so tried from the traveling an dlack of sleep. I came home to an empty, realising this is how it will be when I get back to the USA. This really dampened my spirits and I had to blast the stereo with various dramatic arabic love songs to get through these emotions. O snaps, I am really not wanting to leave. Subhan'Allah thse last 2 months have been so great...of course filled with drama after drama...but seriously would not trade the precious moments I had with my husband for anything.

Today, I did a real big cleaning (again) of the house...really going through every cabinet and drawer looking for things we donnot need. I feel so exhausted.

I sat for moment and flipped on the TV, only to watch some video clips, which just made my mood worst. But funy enough as a tear formed in my eye, the phone rang. It was my husband. The poor dear hungry and exhausted...wanting to come home. Inchallah I am going to pick him by 4.30pm (DZ time)...

Anyways, I will post some pics tomorrow of the Sahara and my great adventure. All this week, I am just going gift shopping...something I usually like, but seems from this day the countdown begins. :crying:

Have great day everyone!

Good Morning all. Just the same old grind here - Monday morning at work. Jackie, not sure what would cheer you up but hope your day gets better.

Henia, I don't blame you - I wouldn't want to come home either. There is something wonderfully apealing about the more relaxed world over there, at least what I saw.

JW - I agree - staying busy makes the time fly. Before you know it he will be here and you will have extra money in the bank. What a deal!

Jess - do you have any hobies you could work on? I always loved cross-stitch and quilting and lots of others. Maybe something like that would help pass the time and keep you from being so bored.

Angel - now you get to be an angel for real, at least for a day. Enjoy it, but don't forget to stop being too much of an angel when your husband gets you alone tonight!

Amera - congrats on the new job. Hope you enjoy it.

What an adorable picture.

It's an awesome feeling to buy your own house. The first thing I wanted to do was paint the walls anything but white.

Thanks Liz.

We looked at about 10 or 12 houses. They all needed so much work. This house we bought was completely remodeled. Everything is new and freshly painted with the cutest colors. New wood flooring, ceramic tile and carpet. Also new kitchen Appliances. That is why we chose it. We just move in and nothing has to be done. :D

Jean - I travel in about two months. It's going by soooo slow too but I'm sure the 11 days I'm there will go by way too fast so you just can't please me. lol. Still have no clue where I'll be staying once I'm there though. Kind of keeps on on one's toes. If he doesn't seal a deal on a flat by the end of this week I'll just do it myself with a company egyrents.com that I found myself.

Henia - ((((hugs))))) No words can help what you must be going through but just treasure each second now instead of mourning it. You haven't left yet so each minute is a gift. Any idea when you can move back there for real? At least if you have a date it will be something to look forward to!

Jackie - I know what you mean. I'm in a funk today too. No idea why. Oh well. Day's half way done. lol.

meriem - Oh my gosh that pic is adorable!!!! You look so very young to actually have grandkids! You go girlfriend!!!

It's official. I have a migraine. I don't know if it's from wearing contacts all of a sudden or what but it's putting me in a crappy mood. Trying to look ahead to tonight since I haven't seen the kids since Friday. I don't know how some of you do it having to leave for months at a time. I would die a slow death inside I think from missing them! We go through such agony in some way or another in this whole process don't we?
