I am a sucker for absolutely anything Hello Kitty-related (as Ewen can unfortunately attest to). The little kitty in my ticker is Chococat, another Sanrio character.

You'll want to go to Hong Kong one day Pax -- they have Hello Kitty credit cards, Hello Kitty vaccuum cleaners and, I kid you not, a Hello Kitty vibrator

I've seen the Hello Kitty vibrator on Jlist.com (a most addictive and fun website--they have all kinds of weird Japanese products), but a Hello Kitty credit card? Keep me away! ;)

Abby (U.S.) and Ewen (Scotland): We laughed. We cried. Our witness didn't speak English. Happily married (finally), 27 December 2006.

Latest news: Green card received 16 April 2007. USCIS-free until 3 January 2009! Eligible to naturalize 3 April 2010.

my cousin is in jail, I think for murdering someone or he was involed with a murder :o ... he is actually my mom's cousin but he was my age and we went to the same school and we were in the same class and we were pretty good friends ... he was adopted from birth by my mom's aunt and uncle....

Since we're on families now, I almost fell in love with one of my cousins. We met at my grandfather's funeral and spent a lot of time together over those several days. Before you think I'm completely weird, he was adopted so he wasn't biologically related to me!!

As my uncle used to say......if you have to do it, might as well keep it in the family.

My 5-year old neice yelled at Simba during a Broadway performance of The Lion King.

"Simba, don't you understand? Your dad is dead! He can't come back to you! He's gone, Simba.":blush: Took me that long to stretch accross the other child to cover her mouth. :)

When every I drive, I always invision myself running off the road and hitting a wall or a tree... :o

I am deathly afraid of fire (in high school, my school caught on fire and I was stuck in a panic situation not being able to get out) and I envision my house on fire when I drive up to it everyday. :o

I have a facination with pens. I love using them up. I will use a pen until it is empty and then I collect new pens. No matter how chewed up or ugly, I use them and always choose the ugliest one to use up first.

I refuse to throw anything out - food wise- unless it will make me sick. If I buy something and don't like it, I will figure out how to make it taste better so that I can use it up.

I love pickles and eat a jar of them a week.

I not only own the Pirate Movie, I had to special order it to get it.

I am deathly allergic to mollusks (oysters, clams, mussels, scallops).

I have a social anxiety disorder that was at one time so severe I couldn't leave the house alone.

I can play the guitar, clarinet, and oboe, although none of them so well as it's been quite awhile.

I am a prolific reader and yet have never read such children's classics as the Chronicles of Narnia or Alice in Wonderland.

I was born in the Yukon but didn't even live there a month. My great-grandfather was Canada's Ambassador to the Yukon ("Yukon Bud"). When I first met him I thought he was Santa Claus (had a long white beard and wore red shirts).

As a child I learned how to make Ukranian Pysanky Easter eggs and saved the last one I made until I was 22 (it was lost in a move).

I arrange dollar bills in my wallet according to their denominations, from smallest to biggest and starting with the $1s in front.

I use fragrance-free facial cleansers because of sensitive skin.

I love all kinds of mushroom. My favorite is portabella.

I cannot cook Asian stir-fry dishes without at least a small dollop of oyster sauce.

I enjoy looking at men's watches.

I don't like wearing shirts or blouses that have to be tucked in because my waist is high. Yuck.

Two years after I broke up with an ex-boyfriend, I found out from friends he was actually in jail and had called me from the courtroom after his hearing on the day we broke up.

July 3rd he flew to England to meet me

We fell in love while he drove all over the place coz I cannot read maps (we were supposed to go to Ingleton - but touched Darlington 4 times, Pierce Bridge 6 times, Scotch Corner twice and Bernard Castle twice and we never did make it to Ingleton)

It has been so long and so much has happened in between...
