SHUT UP Daisy really??? I might be way too gullible about some things people have written, but I've just assumed everything is true. Gimy was on a talk show, Lorelle a game show, freakin Sharon has COOTER livin' down the road...you carried the torch, a Jack Nicholson 1st cousin in the fan damily...that's just cool stuff to me. Who cares if I'm a gullible geek...I love it all!!!! BRINGITTTTT . But Daisy anyway...really? That's awesome!!! How did you come to be able to do that? PS..Craig has to drive to Rhinelander for his driving test on Friday morning and then my folks are coming for supper..I'll give you a call Friday morning while he's out.. :) M.(would be sooner but have a lot going until then..I'm at school as I type this..just got done and gonna leave..)

Well, a few years ago I had been admiring this simply gorgeous bikini in one of my fave shops. I'd been invited to a rather posh affair and really had wanted to look my best. It was far too expensive so I waited for it to go on sale. The morning of the grand affair I queued up at the shop to make sure I was first at the cash and wrap and bought it. Later that morning I went to a fund raiser/pool party clad in this lovely pale yellow microfibre suit. Feeling like a million quid I was popping in and out of the swimming pool all afternoon, spent literally 6 hours bathing and basking and mixing with the guests. Lots of fairly important and well-known people were in attendance. Every now and than throughout the afternoon I'd catch a glimpse from the corner of my eye that people were admiring me and felt chuffed that the suit was a big hit. Later on I popped into the ladies room to dry my hair and learned that the suit was see through when wet. The dark bits and all!

This thread was a fun way to not get my work done last night, what else you people got?

I don't know that there is anything else interesting about me, but my dad has some cool stories, like he went to Woodstock with a band and while everybody else was sleeping in the mud, he was at a holiday inn (or something like that) having a Chinese food fight with the Who...

A couple not about me but about family:

It was a family legend that me great aunt passed on that my great great great (3 greats I think...) Aunt was on a Bulgarian Coin. The ruler at the time thought she was the ideal image of Bulgarian Beauty. (We thought it was BS until my great-aunt dies and we found that she actually had some of the coins!)

My brother is a local musician. The remaining members of Led Zeppelin (Robert Plant and John Bonam's son) made a stop here in Tulsa recently for a show. On their off time they happened to walk into a show of my brothers and asked to sit in. Yes, I sh** you not, my brother jammed with Led Zeppelin! (and I missed it!! I had an invite to go to the show but stayed home instead! doh!)

Lessee....

- I was in my high school marching band. Played sax, but not well.

- My first concert was Willie Nelson... matter of fact, the last concert I went to was Willie, too.

- I was in a pretty bad car accident in May and broke my pelvis in two places. Highly painful, don't recommend it.

- I had gastric bypass surgery nearly three years ago and have lost 177 pounds, so far.

- I adore peanut butter but hate the smell of it and completely freak if I get any under my fingernails.

- I can't stand to have dirty hands. I carry paper towels and antibacterial wipes everywhere I go.

- I'm 30 and still go spas when a new Harry Potter book or movie comes out. I take off work on the first day of all the HP movie releases to go see them. I also stood in line with other geeks and kiddies for the midninght release of The Half-Blood Prince.

- I'm trying to teach myself how to crochet, and it's not going well.

That's all I can think of right now. Maybe I'll come up with something more interesting later!
