signature confirmation?

So my husband, when he sent the i-130 package to phoenix via USPS, asked for signature confirmation. Whenever I type the numbers he gave me in to USPS directory it says: "Delivery status information is not available for your item via this web site. A return receipt after mailing may be available through your local Post Office." I'm not sure what this means? Does it mean that he either gave me the number wrong? That nothing has happened? Or that I just can't check it online? Because it goes to the PO Box is there ever going to be a signature for it or will it just get returned and we'll have to send it again? He forgot to tear off the receipt for the money order as well so we can't check anything that way.

helpsmilie.gif I'm worried we'll have to redo a bunch of stuff (including the original affidavit from his best friend) partially because he didn't listen to me and photocopy the whole thing, and partially because of this darn signature. It was sent on Oct 13th and wow, if I'm this stressed out over just delivery and NOA1, I'm gonna be a pile of black mushed bananas 5+ months from now waiting for NOA2!

headbonk.gif yeah i'm the one getting their head hit... LOL

Cody sent some paperwork through USPS once and even though a signature was required, you could only track it via telephone? I had never ever heard such a thing before, but maybe you can get your hubby to call USPS to track it. Good luck! I am sure everything will be just fine. Worrying seems like the biggest part of this whole process huh?

USPS is not the greatest for tracking packages online. I've had time where the tracking showed nothing until after the package was delivered. Check with USPS, you probably have a confirmation number not a tracking number.

When my husband gets packages from canada post, he`s always tracking them and I told him that`s quite a luxury. The tracking system for USPS is a complete joke. I`ve had things say they weren`t delivered for 2 days (even though they`re in my hands) and things say they WERE delivered the day before they actually were....
