So I applied for an extension for a family member that was visiting on B2 visa...it took them 3 months and some...but just got the email (3 days before the departure)that it got approved and the mail is on the way. When we applied for it we sent in the original I-94. Now, I wonder if the letter from them is not making on time with the new I-94 before his departure in 2 days, would a print out from USCIS website together with the first notice of application ( both of them show the application number to identify my relative) is going to be enough at the customs so he won't have any problems....

Do you know of anyone else in this situation?
