So, she was so nervous that she had a small vomit in the hotel room the night before interview.(She will kill me for mentioning that  ).

Anyway, we spent SO MUCH time, money, and effort preparing all supporting evidence, chat logs, phone records, pictures, documents, etc....($300+ to send all that to her), they asked for NONE of that.

But, they did ask to see 1 document that is NOT listed as a requirement for interview. I will get to that one later.

They asked her only 3 questions. 1) "Who is your petitioner"? Reply: My husband, Thomas P______ J_______.

2) "You have a son"? Reply: Yes

3) "Oh? You were married before? Reply: No

This is where all you IR-1/CR-1 applicants who have a child will want to listen.

Interviewer: "You will need to go apply for your "CEMAR" to show that you have never been married before".

My wife: "Oh, I have that already" ...the interview had a look of surprise on her face.

Interviewer: "Ok then, your APPROVED!

My wife said thank you to VJ....that CEMAR was her "Saving Grace"! APPROVED!!!

CEMAR......not marriage certificate

This is a document for a married person that proves they have no previous marriages.

CENOMAR is for single person never married before.

CEMAR and vomit - priceless !

Congratulations on the approval !!

When's the intended pond jump, and is she bringing a dog or cat?

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Yeah....I don't remember the form number

The CEMAR is a form that shows if a married person has ever been married before.

It's like a CENOMAR for married person.

Congrats!

Thank you codygrace... :)
