The I-131 is free when filed with the I-485.

So it should be:

$420 for the I-130

$1,070 for I-485+I-131

Have you considered filing for the temporary employment authorization (I-765) as well? It is also free when filed with the I-485, and should be approved in 2-3 months in the same time as the I-131 (I-131 and I-765 approved will be a combo-card).

Also, which visa are you adjusting your status from?

So you sent three separate checks for all of those forms? You are only suppose to write one check of $1070 for all of those forms if they were filed at the same time.

$1,070 is only for I-485 (I-131 included or not).

OP also filed for I-130, which is not free.

Yes, and I suggest to OP to read the VJ guide, as one mistake has been done, another one may have been done in his/her packages.

so now only 1070$ they need?

130 and 131 will be free?

No. If you also need to file the I-130, you must pay the fee for it too.

The fee for the I-130 is $420.

The fee for the I-485 is $1070. The fees for the I-765(EAD) and I-131(AP) are waived when filed with the I-485.

Your total would be $1490. Please see this guide: http://www.visajourney.com/content/i130guide2

There is also a forum here for those adjusting from a tourist, student or work visa: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/130-adjustment-of-status-from-work-student-tourist-visas/

thanks dear for all help ,

what i did i sent three checks for 130 = 420

for 485=1070

for i-131 = 445$ so its should be zero but by mistake i sent this check,

so they return the package and said :

check amount is incorrect .

do u think they seen the total is 1935$ and i supposed to send total amount 1490$ , but all checks are separates so they can take only 1490$ from two checks.
