My aunt had an interview in september, she was rescheduled for another interview because she did not pass the civic test. And the second interview was yesterday, she answered 5 answers correctly instead of 6. The officer gave her a paper in which it was mentioned that she did not pass it so decision was not yet made and a letter will be send. Does anyone have an idea how long it will take to send that letter so she'll re-apply.

As far as USCIS, you are given one more chance if you failed the civic which was her rescheduled interview you mentioned. You said she answered only 5 questions (6 to pass), this means she failed the second time. You should expect a denail letter in the mail very soon (unless if there was a waiver for disability filed or so which I think she did not).

Iam sorry that this happened, she can apply again when she have a good command of the civics.
