Accent marks or not? + Passport pictures?

1. In my fiance's passport his name is written Ádám with the accent marks. Do we have to write his name like this on all of the forms or can we just write it Adam without the accent marks? Does it really matter?

2. How many passport photos have to go with the G-325A's? How should we cut them? Leaving the white around the edge or cut exactly around the photo?

If the accents are in his name why not include them? You each just need one passport photo for the G325A. You should read the following link to be sure you have everything. It also has the photo requirements.

1. Yes, write your fiance's name exactly as it's written in the passport. If you just write Adam, it could refer to another person, with the same last name. For example, the name "Mariah McAllen" would not be the same person if the name was slightly changed to "Maria McAllen". In foreign languages, the accents are like vowels in English. So they ARE important! Leaving out the accents would be like leaving out vowels in a person's name.

2. As far as I remember, I used 2 photos for the G-325A. (Someone clarify?) Anyway, you DON'T cut the photos!!! Go to a qualified photo studio and ask them to take visa sized pictures of you. These should be 2 inches x 2 inches. You don't have to cut anything, they will give you the pics with the right dimensions.
