I have been doing some reasearch and it appearsa that women get approved at a much higher rate and faster during their first interviews. Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Yes in Laos women are more likely approved and less likely on AP. men are more then 50%, at time seems like 99%, are put on AP.

When I spoke directly to the Algiers embassy they told me almost all men age 18 - 45 go through AP for security purposes because Algeria is considered a "terrorist risk" country. My guess is all MENA countries are. This along with the high fraud rates would account for a lot of the differences you see in these areas.

I was born and grew up in the same city all my life. However it doesn't make any sense that they would ask him to get the police certificate from his birth city if he is living for a while in another city...The consulate wants to see if he has any criminal records wherever he lives, then there is another court record that I believe he should get from Rabat, the capital.

Just to be sure, let him try to get a police certificate from the place of his birth ( see what the police there will tell him), and from where he lives if you can,,,Just to be sure he is covered.

I don't know if this is of any help, I'm sorry I don't have more information to share with you !

Yeah, he went to the police station in his place of residence and they directed him to his place of birth. I'll talk to him about Rabat. Thank you

ummm did he/she really say that?? Men is stronger and smarter than women, Please!really!!

Stronger yes.. Taller on average too.. and more hairy, though we bald on top sooner.

As far as "smarter"... Most studies have shown women and men to be about the same in intelligence on average though men are more variable. That is there are more men that are mentally deficient and more that are gifted. So take a large population and the 5% least intelligent and 5% most intelligent will have a larger representation of men.

I don't believe it.. Prove it to me and I still won't believe it. -Ford Prefect

My sister in law got her visa very easily Morocco , simple questioning. Hardly any proof of their relationship. They met online for a brief amount of time, he came and married her the first visit, no wedding party or photos ....nothing. He returned to the states and submitted the paperwork and 9 months later she was with him in the states. Their background, he is a divorced moslem middle eastern man in his 50's, she is a young woman in her 30's. Yes, i'm very jealous that we are still separated and trying to be patient while she breezed through and is happy with her husband.

This give me more confidence :). My wife and I are the same age, and we are just really hoping she can come home soon.

Maybe more females have applications in, and more comes to this forum

I'm a thinking this is the answer.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

In Morocco, there is only a few females who have been applied for by their husbands that are here. I have spoken to many of them, and they all indicated the same thing. Only one was put in administrative review, because a document was missing or needed to be updated, and that was done within a week.
