Just got the email and SMS messages (2 SMS)

Online status is now

Decision

On July 22, 2013, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before receiving your card, please call our customer service center at 1-800-375-5283.

During this step the formal decision (approved/denied) is written and the decision notice is mailed and/or emailed to the applicant/petitioner. You can use our current processing time to gauge when you can expect to receive a final decision.

N-400 Journey

May 12 2016 - Filed N-400 (new version of form)

May 16 2016 - Received by Phoenix Lock Box

May 18 2016 - Received SMS and Email confirmation

June 10 2016 - Biometrics

April 06 2017 - Emails / SMS received - Interview scheduled

I called last night and they entered a claim for me as well since Indianapolis local was also processing 11/15/12 and our fee was accepted 10/31/12. I was also told to wait 15 days and then check back

Well, called USCIS again today to inquire about our AOS status... They said our case was estimated to be done July 11, however the NBC and our local office is behind? He said give it until August 11. Not sure how our local office, Oklahoma City, is behind when they are processing December 1x 485's?

lol, no luck with the Oklahoma City field office either. I filed some type of request on June 26th 2012 and nothing. So I just filed and e-request online. Hopefully something will get done, but really at this point...I'm not sure if it matters if requests are filed, they're bound to get approved anytime now...

First request by phone was T1D1771xxx385OKC

E-Request online is SR12111xxx084OKC

I'm assuming SR is service request, not sure what T1 something means....

I just received a telephone call from the local office here in Houston. They told me they just received a bunch of AOS cases on June 27th from NBC and they are working through them. Told me to wait 60-90 days and then put in another service request if I didn't hear anything before then.

9.5 month wait so far. I wonder how much longer they'll make us wait? :(

Just got a letter from the local Oklahoma City office, and they said FBI wasn't able to run her fingerprints twice. So therefore, I need to get city, count, and state police, sheriff, and OSBI clearance for her??? What the heck...geez. More hoops to jump through. Then after I turn that information, they will schedule a meeting for a sworn affidavit?

Yes, after a long wait I finally received a green card. No interview either!

Came here on K1 visa and received a green card that expires in 10 years. Expiration date is 07/2023. I thought that first greencard would only be good for 2 years?!

Did anyone else receive a permanent resident card that expires in 10 years??

The first card should be for two years. You should call and explain the mistake. They made the mistake, not you. My wife got her card, and it expires 7/26/15.
