Awesome! Let me know if they require a signature when they deliver.. A little nervous that there won't be someone home to sign for it when it arrives...

The card is sent priority mail- which means no signature is required. (since it is possible to ship something with a tracking number in priority mail and people have mentioned when speaking to reps at USCIS getting tracking numbers, Im assuming they send them with tracking numbers, - however if you access your case online or get email updates, when you get the email stating your card was shipped, it does not give you a tracking number, just a message stating 'your card was picked up by the post office X date, and you should receive it in 30 days, if not contact us.')

So basically-

1st notification- application approved and you'll receive a confirmation of such (however no one seems to ever receive a separate letter- just the card and letter its attached to)

2nd- your card was sent for production

3rd- your card was picked up by the post office (at this point you could call customer service and ask for a tracking number if you want but it shouldnt take more then 2-3 days max.

4th-Post office confirmed delivery of your card to address on file

Hi all! We received my guy's EAD/AP combo card in the mail on Saturday. It was sent via priority mail, so no signature was required and we received it on a Saturday. It's a little larger than a regular envelope, but it fit into our mail slot just fine :)

The only thing I'm waiting on now is for the USCIS website to be updated with our case number for the AOS and for that to move forward, however long it takes. The website is updated for our EAD and AP MSC numbers.

It seems that way (maybe even shorter) You can check timelines here- http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/eadlist.php?cfl=&op5=4,7,11,12

You can track people who did biometrics around the same date at you and see where they are.

People who currently reported receiving their EAD card in Dec include those who reported having their biometrics done 10/31, 10/26, 10/15, 11/05, 11/02, 11/09 and one poster 04/04 (yikes)

Once more question, does anyone know whats the validity period of a CA drivers license when applied for with an EAD, do they only make it valid until the EAD is valid or do they give the normal time frame.. thanks..
