Congrats to everyone who got their status updated!

USPS picked up my card from USCIS yesterday, I should have it so soon! I'm passing my driving test tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to get a DL for a full year if the EAD shows up on time! :)

I still can't get an update on the USCIS web site or update my account to get text/e-mails because this is what the web site says:

•Your case can not be found at this time in My Case Status. Please check your receipt number and try again. If you need further assistance, please call the National Customer Service Center at 1.800.375.5283.

I've input the numbers for the I-485, I-131 and I-765 all to no avail. My wife had her biometrics done 3 weeks ago. When I called USCIS the agent has to speak with the applicant, my wife and could give me no info. While her English is good, I will have be there when she calls to help her out which will be tough based on my work schedule. I sent an e-mail to the USCIS Ombudsman asking for assistance.

Any other suggestions? We're trying to plan a trip once she gets her combo card and would kind of like to know where we stand. Thanks.

Same situation with us, our cases can't be found in the online system. I called yesterday and spoke with a tier 2 officer. She told me the average wait time for approval on AP and EAD is 75-90 days. My husband completed biometrics on 10/30 (6 weeks ago) and our case status is "pending". Sit tight, you'll probably hear something in the next few weeks. It's pretty hard to plan for any international travel until you actually have the AP approval and then you run the risk of booking a trip and getting an interview date for the time you're planning to be away. At least that's the situation we're in at the moment...

My case status is finally available online but while it says the I-765 is in initial review in only says the I-485 is accepted and then it said something a little confusing. 10/19 is when they got my package but the I-485 says the finger print fee was received 10/31. I wonder if the fee was forwarded? Does anyone know? I sent in the entire amount for the form and biometrics at the same time. My NOA1's list the date of 10/19.

That's exciting news! I was glancing at your timeline and it looks like it took 8 days for you to get your card in hand after approval... My husband was approved yesterday for EAD & AP and we've desperately tried to get the actual card expedited so that we can leave the country on Fri evening. We didn't have any luck at our info pass appointment this morning, so all we can do is continue to call and ask for the tracking number so that we have some idea of when it will be arriving. I pray it won't take 8 days! :crying:

I actually received a special status email update on 12/10 saying The USPS reported that they picked up mail from USCIS containing your new card on December 10, 2012. You should receive your new card within 7 days. So it means it only took them two days to ship the card, it arrived in a USPS Priority Mail envelop but unfortunately I didn't see any tracking number on it... Fingers crossed you'll get it by Friday!

Good to know its sent via Priority Mail. We called USCIS tonight & spoke with a tier 2 rep. We were told that my husband's card was sent today. Don't want to get our hopes up, but I think we have a chance of getting it Friday, especially if it was sent via Priority Mail... Going crazy here!

Just wanted to give an update. Mine was approved on the 8th and I have yet to receive the card. We'll see, most seem to take 7-8 days to have the card in their hands after approval. Since y'all's was sent out today you may get it before me! Lucky!

Wow, you're in a situation identical to mine, my interview was scheduled for Jan 14, 2013 but my wife won't be in town during that time. I had called to inquire about a possible change of date and the next day they emailed me saying they changed my appointment and they'll send me a notice with the new date once it becomes available. And to answer you question about whether he has to be there or not, Yes since you were scheduled for an interview he'll have to be there unless otherwise stated by the notice you'll receive in the mail, and its common for both petitioner and beneficiary to attend for AOS cases.

Quick question. From the ones that received your EAD card, how many received an acceptance letter prior on the card. I haven't received any notice, or am I just getting the card directly?

I didn't receive any notice prior to the card. The last letter I got from USCIS was the biometrics appointment.
