I checked the online status of my EAD and AP as soon as I saw your post. Both were approved TODAY, and they both appear online one at the decision stage and the other in the post depiction activity. They will arrive prior to moving, thankfully. Now, the move may then only affect the interview, if that.

If you filled in early October be on the lookout!!! Check online statuses even if they never worked before!!!

We will make it through!

YES!!! I just saw the online thing and my guy's EAD and AP were both approved. Same situation as you though, one is in the decision stage and one is in the post-decision activity. I still don't see anything online for the green card though.

So happy though!! YAY!

I had written a email to the USCIS ombudsman about the case numbers not showing up and just got a response today that there was a glitch:

My original message to them:

Subject: MSC case numbers not in system - what is normal timeframe?

My husband received two receipt numbers with a priority date of 10/19/12 and I was attempting to add the case to my porfolio online, but the error message said "attempting to add a case that does not exist". How long does is usually take for cases to be added? Should I be concerned? He did receive the biometrics appointment letter.

Today's email:

"Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The online cases status system is supposed to automatically update with case information; however, there was a glitch and your receipt numbers were not updated. We have asked that this be corrected and you should see your case information when you check it online in the next couple days.

Your timeline is very similar to ours, we mailed our packet on Sept 28th and completed biometrics on 10/30. Still waiting to hear something about EAD/AP and starting to get very impatient.

Those of you who have discovered you were approved for EAD/AP, did you receive a text or email notification? Or did you only find out by checking your case status online? Our cases never made it into the online system so the only way we can get an update is if we call and sit in a queue for an hour.

I received both text and email confirmation. I'm pretty sure it'll be the same for you, it seems like they repaired this infamous glitch in their system!

My case is quite unusual because EAD is already in production (since last Tuesday) but the AP status says: On December 4, 2012, we mailed you a notice that we certified our approval of this case and sent it to the appropriate appellate body for review. They will notify you directly when they make a final decision. Did any of you receive a similar message regarding either EAD or AP?

I just checked out receipt numbers and they still haven't made it past the glitch and into the system I think we're going to call USCIS every single day until they tell us it's approved! Not like that will do anything except waste our time We have tickets to fly to Denmark on Friday and I can't even fathom how much it's going to cost us to change them. Not only that, we have no idea when to change them to!

Weird about the message regarding AP. I wonder when you receive your EAD card if the AP will just be on there. Usually the EAD and AP are a combo card. Hope you get it in the mail soon!

still waiting to hear back on my wife's AP/EAD status, can't check the status online either.

The online system/email/text notifications are not the same for everyone. I got a receipt text and email when the AOS packet was received, and haven't gotten announcements through email or text since then. My case status was never update on the online system up until last week. I kept checking just in case and surprisingly, the I-485, EAD and AP numbers worked just last week. The I-485 was in interview stage, and EAD Decision/Acceptance and AP post-decision.

Just keep on checking they may show up soon, or you may just get surprised with the regular mail notifications. Don't worry too much about your case not being online, you can also call to check on it.
