I am petitioning my stepdaughter from the Philippines.

According to the instructions here:

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3197.html

I emailed the AOS stuff to NVCElectronic@state.gov.

Is this the correct place to send it?

Since the attachments were so large, especially the joint tax return, I had to send 3 emails. Do you think there will be a problem because of this?

Have you opted in for electronic processing?

As far as I know, China and Canada are the only locations that use electronic processing. Others from the Philippines can tell you the process they used.

Sorry, but the Philippines is NOT eligible for electronic processing. You need to snail mail the AOS and IV packages to NVC.

Have you opted in for electronic processing?

As far as I know, China and Canada are the only locations that use electronic processing. Others from the Philippines can tell you the process they used.

There are more places than that.

Yes, you need to OPTIN first.

Once your OPTIN has been ACCEPTED (you'll know via email notification, or calling in to confirm), you can then email your AOS in.

My assumption is that sending the files in separate emails will delay the process. When we did ours, we compressed the files to make them smaller and all fit into one email. If you want a confirmed answer to this, call the NVC (1-603-334-0700), wait on hold for 10-20min, give your case #, petitioner & beneficiary name & birthdate, and ask them directly.

Good luck.

Although that's good advice, the OP is not eligible for EP.

It does say "Mail them to the NVC unless you have joined the E-Mail Electronic Processing program..."

So it does look like I made a mistake by emailing the AOS docs. Any harm done?

Can I postal mail the AOS and IV packages separately?

Nope, no harm done. You've only wasted time is all.

You can mail the packages either separately or together. All up to you.
