Nothing is wrong. Congratulations.

The form letter just gives the worst case time scenario. We received the same approval letter from the Vermont Service Center last Saturday. On Monday, the new green card arrived in our mailbox. You should have your new card soon.

My letter came from VSC, but my case was processed there. Is it possible that yours got moved to Philly and you didn't know until now?

And the 60 days listed on the letter is totally normal. It won't/shouldn't take 60 days

I got approved last week, got the letter the day later from VSC (I live in MA). And then a few days later (Friday just gone) the online system updating saying the card had been shipped. It arrived yesterday. Nowhere near 60 days. They probably build that in as a buffer.

My package was sent in a USPS priority envelope, no tracking. If you call I doubt you will get the tracking information you need. make sure your mailbox is clearly labelled and secure.

PS... congratulations and relax!!!

Pancu, they do not send it out with tracking. If you got your letter today, then they have probably started making your card and it should be with you in a few days.

I do not think they would be able to make an exception for you, but you can always ask. Call the Service Center, they would have the same information as the local office I think. 1-800-375-5283.

Pancu, I wouldn't worry if I were you. That '60 days' is standard, just to cover their bases. My husband got his approval letter on a Saturday and he had the green card on the following Wednesday. Like lovelyalex said, the green card arrives in a regular USPS priority envelope. Wait a few days, hopefully you will have your green card. :)
