Hi!

Well, checked status today and found a request for something missing on my 184.

Ill be sending my DS-230 early this week so...

How long does it typically take to send to the embassy?

I did check the time lines here but there are very few for Ukraine.

From what I see from others, its taking about a month after the DS-230 before they send to the embassy.

Starting to feel like I can do a little planning now.

thanks!

Yes the missing document is the DS 230 and once it goes back to the NVC it will show as missing on the automatic line. It goes to a different office but it does take a 3 - 6 weeks for it to be completed at the NVC level once the I-864 is reviewed.

Not sure on how long it will take to get to the Ukraine? Most files are sent in batches to each consulate or embassy. Good luck and your on the final stages of your journey at NVC.

Are you saying that what I think is an RFE is really the request for the DS-230?

Yes that is not an RFE. It is the DS 230.

Mary explained it well. It takes about 2-4 weeks for NVC to complete the case, if your DS 230 packet is fine and complete, once they receive the DS 230 packet.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
