My K1 was approved in July I had my medical in september. I call them end of september told to call again monday 15th october now being told it could be up another year possibly 2. They wont give an explination. I have we done something far wrong. I dont know what to do it putting a stain on our relationship this i fear it could end in tears. Looking for advice..

Have you had your interview yet?

If you had your interview, and were put in AP (Administrative Processing, for bonafide relationship or security checks) then while it can take a year, it rarely does- a few months i more likely.

If you have not had your interview yet, then the "one year or possibly 2" comment is very odd. Who told you that? What do you mean when you say "we done something far wrong"?

The US embassy in London has your file for a K1 visa and told you it would take 1-2 years to get an interview? Are you sure they did not say months?
